She has a dirty mouth, and is friends with Dave. She lives with her guardian Marcus after her father's death. She later attends high-school with Dave(in Kick-Ass 2). She doesn't play with dolls like normal girls as a child. She played with benchmade model 42 butterfly knives. Mindy's late father called her, babydoll .
