Jake is a student at McKinley High School and Puck's half-brother. He first comes in with New Directions in Season 4 when Will holds open auditions to replace graduated .It is not hard to see that Jake is related to Puck. He has a fairly large chip on his shoulder and is quick to anger when frustrated. When Will stops Jake's audition he immaturely knocks over a microphone and storms off the stage, thinking he should have been allowed to finish. Just like his half-brother, Jake comes to New Directions with quite a bit of growing up to do.Unlike Puck, music seems to come more naturally to Jake, who has a very strong singing voice. He is ionate about people but is occasionally at a loss for how to express himself.Jake is the result of an affair between his mother and Puck's father, who was married at the time.
