David Joseph Martinez is a Hispanic-American Actor born in Miami and raised in Hialeah, Florida. David's parents are: Louis and Florinda Martinez. His older brother is, Louis Alexander and his younger brother is Tommy. David has been a Union Film and T.V. actor since 1985, where he earned his S.A.G. card working on the hit series, "Miami Vice". David earned his Equity union status in 1987, having a principal role in the regional tour of the Broadway Show, "Evita", out of New York City, New York. David started his acting training at the ripe age of 15 at the Barn Theatre in Miami Lakes, Florida. As a freshman in high school, David, booked the lead role in, "Up the Down Staircase" and voted "The Most Talented Senior", at graduation. At Florida State University in both undergraduate and graduate school, David studied Dance and Voice & got his B.A. degree in Psychology and post graduate training in School Psychology. David studied Stanislavsky and "The Method" in his teens, Acting for the Camera in his mid-twenties. In his thirties and forties, David studied the techniques of Stanford Meisner, Stella Adler, Jeremiah Comey and Uta Hagen w/ Hebert Bergoff. The last several years, David became a leader in, "Transformational Thinking" and began working with and coaching business professionals, actors & actresses in recreating their lives and careers and taking it to the next level. David also has years of experience directing and producing in theatre, cabaret, live events, and video documentaries.
